In this workshop, we're still exploring Kokedama, a unique moss-covered soil ball where decorative plants thrive. With is origins in Japan, it beautifully combines nearai bonsai and kusamono styles.
Each participant had the chance to select two plants they felt at ease caring for. Then, they crafted their own kokedama along with a one-of-a-kind saucer, making each creation uniquely their own.
*Canary is a program for sound, video, performance, and installation work. Through site-specific exhibitions they encourage artists to use their unique resources and platform to challenge audiences with critical work and subject matter.
